Air standard cycle analysis, Chemical stoichiometry and dissociation, chemical equilibrium. Calculation of temperature rise in a combustion reaction with dissociation. Combustion in SI engines. Combustion in diesel engines. Mixture requirements for SI and diesel engines. Performance characteristics of internal combustion engines. Tupercharging of internal combustion engines. Emissions and Air Pollution
