The exposition has significantly expanded as compared to the previous year. It occupies two entire pavilions, with some of the stands being located at the balconies of the pavilion 7.
380 companies from 15 countries – Russia, Belarus, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine – will take part in the exhibition.
The stands of leading Russian manufactures, such as Cheboksary Electric Instrument Plant, Sverdlovsk Current Transformer Plant, Tavrida Electric, Streamer, High-Voltage Union, Togliatti Transformator etc. will present the latest developments in the industry.
Within the exhibition, Elektronmash will demonstrate the state-of-the-art system solutions for power supply and manufacturing automation. New LED lamps for office and industrial use will be displayed at the stand of Elektronapparat, the only enterprise in the CIS which specialises in dust- and waterproof low-voltage equipment. Russky Elektroprivod will offer some exclusive products in its segment being a sole company in Russia which develops high-powered (over 1 MW) drives on the basis of electrical machines with permanent magnetic field. It’s a new sort of machines sought-after in the various sectors of economy. The company will present some unique technical solutions intended to improve the efficiency of electric drives and their power-supply systems.
At the exhibition, there will be national expositions of China, Czesh Republic, Germany, Poland. With the help of the Federal Ministry of Economy and Technologies of Germany there will be organised a stand featuring leading German electrotechnical manufacturers. In particular, some novelties will be offered by Dehn + Söhne GmbH & Co. KG, an expert with more than 100 years of experience in lightning and overvoltage protection devices. ABL Sursum Bayerische Elektrozubehör GmbH & Co. KG will present a wide range of goods for civil and industrial engineering, such as circuit breakers, motor protection devices, distribution cabinets, etc. A world leader in joining technologies, Kontakttechnik GmbH & Co. KG will display spring clips for electrical equipment and electronics as well as input/output modules that allow to automate certain industrial and construction processes.
Among prominent exhibitors from Poland, there will be the Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Embassy of Poland in RF and the company DACPOL Co. Ltd. which will offer the products for power electronics, automatic machinery and electrical equipment: semiconductor devices, resistors, capacitors, inductive components, protectors, relays, current and voltage transducers, etc.
The national stand of Czesh Republic will certainly be of a great interest for visitors. It will be organised by National Trade Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic CzechTrade with such leading manufacturers as VVV MOST spol. s r.o., MICo, spol. s r.o., G-Team, Inc. and EXINER Group s.r.o.
Chinese exhibitors are traditionally interested in the exhibition. The latest novelties of electrotechnical equipment will be presented by the companies Jiangsu Wetown Busway Co., Ltd., China Electric Equipment Group, Wenzhou Yikun Electric Co., Ltd, Zhengzhou Jingwei Electric Power Technology Co. Ltd, Dalian Insulator Group Co., Ltd and others.
A major manufacturer of online monitoring devices for dissolved gases, Morgan Shaffer Inc. from Canada will present a new line of products, Calisto 9, for detailed analysis of transformer defects.
The conference on Energy Saving and Enhancement of Energy Efficiency in Leningrad Region will be a highlight of the business programme of this exhibition. The reports to be presented will cover such issues as enhancement of energy security, energy audit, improvement of equipment reliability, application of renewable and alternative energy sources, innovative energy saving solutions for public utilities and housing cooperatives, etc. The conference will bring together the representatives of public authorities, farms, leading engineering companies, and chief executives and technical experts that ensure development and operation of public utilities in the cities and rural area.
The conference on Biomass Energy: Biofuel-Based Boiler Houses and Heat Stations, Manufacture of Pellets, Briquettes and Biogas in Russia and Worldwide will cover topical issues of modern biofuel and bioenergy industry. Its agenda will include the reports by the experts of leading biofuel companies and associations in Russia and Europe, scientists, representatives of industry organisations and public authorities.
The representatives of higher educational institutions, recruiting agencies and companies of the branch will meet at the conference on Personnel for Energy-Efficient Economy to discuss an HR policy in the energy units of enterprises and an impact of human factor on the accident rate in the power systems.
The other events in the business programme include a scientific and technical conference on Energy Efficiency of Thermal Power and Thermal Generating Plants, a seminar on New Requirements for Energy Security, Industrial and Fire Safety, a seminar on Organisation of Heat and Water Metering and Energy Efficiency in Housing Sector, and presentations of companies’ products.
