May 2-5, 2011. International BIOMASS Conference & Expo in St. Louis, MO. Presented by Biorefining Magazine. In Brazil, the United States and other nations, biofuels plants are becoming true biorefineries, incorporating the production of fuels, chemicals and power at a single location. Although the primary driver to consider biomass power has been its potential to lower heat and power production costs, the anticipation of global carbon markets and renewable power mandates is spurring a new wave of investment in this sector. These facilities can generate electricity at any time, unlike most other renewable sources of energy. Conference will focus on the following program tracks: crop residues, dedicated energy crops, forest and wood processing residues, livestock and poultry wastes, MSW and urban wastes, and food processing residues. For more info, contact: BBI International, 308 2nd Avenue North, Suite 304, Grand Forks, ND 58203; Ph:(701)746-8385; Email: email@example.com; Website: http://www.biomassconference.com.
